Relationship Questions that Need Answers
Rejection hurts, everybody knows that. Men and women can definitely feel both, but let me focus on the hurt that women feel. When a woman gets rejected or let’s just use the word “dumped”, they feel like the ugliest person in the world, very incapable, and unworthy of the relationship they just had.
I am not saying men do not feel this too, then again we are talking about women getting dumped. Being rejected causes emotional turmoil, confusion, incapacity, anger, and more.
Back in the olden times, we are used to the practice that rejection is deliberately done by women, not by men. However, times do change and equality has been promoted far too much that even men have now the courage to do the things that women used to do without earning so much of a buzz, just like rejecting a person openly.
Now, the question is: why do men dump or reject women? Here are a couple of reasons for you to help you find out and avoid them before things start to get ugly.
1. Lack of Communication
Communication is essential not only in a romantic relationship, but in any kind. We are created as very social beings and without communication, we start to feel alone.
A lack of communication in a romantic relationship will eventually lead to an ugly break up. Why? Because not only will your partner feel alone, he will also misunderstand many of the things that you say and do.
If you are not much of a speaker, you can also communicate through actions by showing your man that you care for him.
2. Becoming a Little Too Demanding
When a relationship is new, men and women are trying to sense each other’s wants and needs. Now, this “sensing” part wears off as the relationship gets older and older.
This is where demands start to creep in your relationship. An occasional demand is just fine, but as a woman, you have to learn to control it. I know, at times the demand is for the good of both of you or your lover alone.
Then again, you can make your lover feel the importance of what you are aiming for, this way you do not have to demand anymore. Because if he understands you well, he will start doing it on his own.
Also, rephrasing or rewording can make things seem a little softer and kinder.
3. Becoming Too Dependent
Every man loves the feeling of being needed, but you have to keep in mind that the man infront of you isn’t a superhero. He is a human too, not that humans are weakling. It is just that humans get tired too. Sometimes they just want to be comforted and taken care of.
As a woman, you have to understand men’s needs because men aren’t as vocal as women. They might already be needing something, but they are waiting for you to react and take care of the situation.
Yes, you can depend on them, but never, ever think that they are there to take care of you as if you have a nanny. Remember, he is your lover, not a charity worker, and not your father too.
All these won’t be much of a problem only if you open your eyes and ears. Try to observe, listen and keep your mind open to what your partner needs and you will experience the best relationship you’ll ever have.
